About Lecturer: R.M.U. Malau is a lecturer in the Communication Studies Department in Telkom University, where she has been a faculty member since 2014. She earned her master degree in Communication Science from Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang, Indonesia. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral studies at the Graduate School for the Humanities at University of Groningen, The Netherlands, where she’s also part of Dutch National Research School for Media Studies (RMeS). Her research interest lies in media and cultural studies, particularly about identity, youth, minority, feminism, and literacy.
